Marycept contains St. John's Wort Extract, which can reduce the effectiveness of hormonal birth control, blood thinners, and immunosuppressants, and can increase serotonin syndrome risk when combined with antidepressants or certain migraine medications. Marycept also contains Huperzine-A, a cholinesterase inhibitor that should not be combined with Alzheimer's medications.
